Tips
Here are some business tips and wisdoms that have helped me over the years.
1
Customer Service
Specializing in a limited range of services can set you apart from the competition. By doing this, you can deliver exceptional quality and value to your customers. Consider their needs and preferences; think about what you would want if you were in their position. Focus on being the best in your niche, and your customers will appreciate your expertise and rely on your proficiencies. Bookkeeping is the financial equivalent to having a skilled gardener - keeping everything trimmed, healthy and thriving month after month.
2
It's the Candles
It’s not the cake, it’s the candles. Buy the better candles. The cake costs the most but returns the least; the candles cost the least but returns the most. Your customers will not notice the cake but will only see the candles. A small price to pay to get noticed. The point is.....don't skimp on the details of anything you do, either in business or in life.
3
The 5% Rule
Those who know 5% more than you do are experts. Admit to yourself what you don’t know. Identify those people, pay attention to their wisdom, ask for advice and make them an influential part of your decision making. Proficient bookkeeping is analogous to having a master mechanic under the hood of your business - tuning every part so the engine runs flawlessly.
4
Higher Up
The higher up you climb, the more fierce the winds blow. It takes a great deal of effort to be successful and even more effort to stay there. Our bookkeeping service expands like a well-built bridge; strong enough for smal traffic today and big loads tomorrow.
